ITS has identified 24 wireless access points installed in the Torrey Pines Center North (TPCN) building that have reached their end of life cycle. ITS has scheduled the replacement of these devices for Tuesday, 9/2, starting at 8:30am to approx 5:30 PM
Each wireless access point will go offline for approximately 15 minutes as it’s replaced with a newer model. There will be light drilling, so the noise and disruption will be minimal. Barring any access issues, we fully expect to complete this activity by the end of the business day.
This activity will not impact the wired network.
