Datacom Wireless team and I&R team to replace old AP devices at the Pepper Canyon Hall building on Monday Sept 15, 2025 between 8:30 AM and approx 5 PM
Scheduled for Sep 15, 08:30 - 17:00 PDT
Scheduled
ITS has identified 40 wireless access points installed in Pepper Canyon Hall building that have reached their end-of-life cycle. ITS has scheduled the replacement of these devices for Monday, 9/15, starting at 8:30am.
Each wireless access point will go offline for approximately 15 minutes as it’s replaced with a newer model. There will be light drilling, so the noise and disruption will be minimal. Barring any access issues, we fully expect to complete this activity by the end of the business day.
Please note, this activity will not impact the wired network.
